The National Agency For Prospective projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan -
is a state institution responsible for regulation, licensing, and permitting procedures in the sphere of crypto-assets turnover, capital market, insurance, e-commerce, lotteries and gambling activities.

The international forum E-com Business Fest 2026 was held in Tashkent, organized by the National Agency for Perspective Projects jointly with the Sellers Association, the E-Commerce Association of Uzbekistan, and other partner organizations. The forum brought together representatives of government agencies, marketplaces, payment organizations, logistics companies, manufacturers, suppliers, and entrepreneurs operating in the field of e-commerce.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Kamronbek Muhammadiyev, Head of the E-Commerce Development and Regulation Department of the Agency, emphasized the importance of ongoing reforms aimed at improving the regulatory framework governing e-commerce.

“Just yesterday, the esteemed President signed a law introducing a notification-based procedure for e-commerce platforms. For approximately one and a half years, together with industry associations, including the Sellers Association and the E-Commerce Association, we worked on this document. And only yesterday was the law officially signed. We are now awaiting the adoption of the main law that will introduce amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Electronic Commerce,’ the Tax Code, and other regulatory legal acts,” he noted.

E-com Business Fest 2026 is one of the largest platforms for discussing current issues related to the development of e-commerce in Uzbekistan. The forum aims to promote the growth of the e-commerce ecosystem, facilitate the exchange of best practices, and discuss modern solutions in online sales, logistics, digital payments, and entrepreneurship support. The event features panel discussions, expert sessions, and meetings between representatives of the business community and government institutions.
During the forum, participants discussed prospects for the further development of e-commerce in the country, improvement of the regulatory environment, advancement of marketplaces and logistics infrastructure, expansion of digital payment solutions, as well as measures to support entrepreneurs and sellers operating in the digital economy.
