The National Agency of Perspective Projects (the Agency) hosted a meeting of representatives of the Agency and the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" with a delegation headed by Mr. Attila Banfi, Managing Director for Global Markets of "OTP Bank PLC".   

During the meeting, the possibilities of operating in the capital market of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the special legal regime "Regulatory Sandbox" were discussed, as well as plans to implement new financial instruments in the stock market, including the derivatives. The Agency emphasized the importance  of creating equal conditions for all capital market participants. Additionally, the guests were informed about tax incentives that were introduced to encourage the population's investment in securities.

Representatives of "OTP Bank PLC" expressed their interest and readiness to participate in projects aimed at improving financial literacy of the population.

As a result of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to further expand their mutually beneficial cooperation within the outlined directions and agreed on the format of further practical interaction.
