The National agency of perspective projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan -
is a state institution responsible for regulation, licensing, and permitting procedures in the sphere of crypto-assets turnover, capital market, insurance, e-commerce, lotteries and gambling activities.
A meeting was held at the National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan to discuss the process of enhancing investment attractiveness of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Agency, one of the biggest US banks Citibank, the Direct Investment Fund (UzDIF) and the Central Securities Depository of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, issues of attracting foreign investors to the corporate bond market of Uzbekistan, the entry of Uzbek companies into international IPOs and other issues were discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the development of the capital market, in particular, improving the investment appeal of Uzbekistan.
